Here is a chance where you can get to know a little bit of the people the Arcaders!

TonyD - Founder, Head Admin, Reviewer (Theatrical/DVDs), Editorialist, News Writer

My name is Tony, or better known throughout the interweb as Hardcore Film Maniac. I’ve became a movie fan ever since sitting through “The Blair Witch Project” one hundred times through the year of the third grade. I began reviewing films two years ago at FilmFanatix.com, and then since last year, I’ve been writing for Horror-101.com, GeeksOfDoom.com, MovieBuffs.com, Fatally-Yours.com, and BargainBinReview.com. I decided to create FilmArcade.net after a long thought process of giving back to a little online film community on MySpace. I felt it was always best to trust the real movie fans and not the paid critics. A few of my favorite films are “Sin City,” “Boondock Saints,” “The Big Lebowski,” “Psycho,” “Leon,” “Fight Club,” “Reservoir Dogs,” “Kill Bill,” “American Beauty,” and “Requiem for a Dream,” but my recent fixations have been “No Country for Old Men,” “Across the Universe,” “Cloverfield,” “Grindhouse,” and “Hot Fuzz.” You can reach me at BoondockSaint048@aol.com (checked daily), BoondockSaint048@yahoo.com (checked every other day), and TonyD@FilmArcade.net (checked daily also).

Anthony T - Co-Admin, Reviewer (Theatrical/DVDs), Editorialist, Chamber Keeper

Hi, I'm the resident horror/independent film reviewer on the site. I write a weekly column here called Reviews From the Horror Chamber, where I review theatrical and independent horror films. Soon, I'll be starting a biweekly independent film column to review films that have been either in the festival and underground film scene. I'm also the director of the Myspace Film Community, where I post independent film news and review films. You can find that site at www.myspace.com/filmindex. The major reason that I'm a film fan is the fact that I like watching films that entertain, provide a nice escape for two hours. You can contact me at AnthonyThurber@FilmArcade.net.

Randy - Co-Admin, Reviewer (Theatrical/DVDs), Occasional Editorialist

Hi, my name is Randy. I write for 3 film sites: FilmFanatix, WikPik, and here at FilmArcade.Net, where I am an admin. I enjoy all film. I will watch almost any movie, and my genres range from comedies to dramas... musicals to romances... chick flicks to horror. Put a movie in front of me, chances are I'll watch it. Plus, if I like it (or HATE IT!) enough, I will review it. I will do screeners, so independent filmmakers, feel free to hit me up. I enjoy movies for so many reasons: the excitement, the movie-going experience, the music, the fun of it all. Also, writing is a hobby (and a talent) of mine, and so reviewing is a fun hobby for me. Review requests are always welcome. If you would like to request a film for me to review, or have any questions or comments, drop me a line at pittsburghboy36@hotmail.com (Checked daily) or randy@filmarcade.net (Checked weekly) and I will get back to you as soon as possible. As for my job here on Film Arcade, I review movies. Most of the time I will be doing DVD released films, past or present favorites of mine. I have an article segment here called "Diggin' Into the DVD Archive", where I choose 2 DVD-released films a month and review them both in one article. Expect one of those at lease once a month. I will also try and review one theatrical release a month. I also write occasional articles and editorials. I also make the banners here on FilmArcade.Net, and as co-admin, help Tony with a lot of the technical stuff. Well, that's all for now. Happy Reviewing!

Kelsey Zukowski - Reviewer (Theatrical/DVDs)

I'm a film critic and aspiring screenwriter. I write horror screenplays mostly. Aside from FilmArcade.net, I write for HorrorYearbook.com, 2Snaps.tv, Wikpik.com, and TCW Film Reviews on Blogger.com. I love film because there are virtually no limitations. It is a medium where anything is possible. Film can also reach so many different people and bring them together. For the filmmakers themselves it enables them to create their vision of how they perceive an aspect of the world, letting a little piece of them live on. When filmmaking is done right it can alter the way you think or make you realize something that you might have never realized otherwise. It can take you away from your own world and broaden your horizons or just let you enjoy the simple things in life. You can contact me here at kelsey@filmarcade.net.

Spaldy - Reviewer (Theatrical)

Hello! I'm Spaldy. I'm a native Floridian trapped in the near rainless and God forsaken Los Angeles area. As an awkward child (and really, who isn't?), I found that I felt the most comfortable and at peace in a movie theatre. When my family got HBO in the late 1970's, repeated viewings of "Empire of the Ants" only made that love of all cinema grow. A fan of logic puzzles, I love dissecting bad movies and seeing where it all went horribly wrong. I currently write reviews for Film Arcade, MySpace (my own, www.myspace.com/spaldini) and Spaldini (http://home.mindspring.com/~spaldini/). I can also be found cursing in front of my television nightly. If you'd like to say ahoy-hoy, you can reach me at: spaldy@filmarcade.net.

MissMovieFan - Reviewer (Theatrical)

Movies are my guilty pleasure… my escape from reality. I grew up watching old movies with my Mom. Right away, I was hooked on the classics: Cary Grant, Audrey Hepburn, Hitchcock, musicals… you name it! Then I developed a taste for Westerns and War Movies watching with my Dad. Back in college, I started writing reviews for a local radio station. Over the years I’ve always recommended films to friends and family members (who lovingly refer to me as the ‘Queen of Movie Trivia’). In recent years, I began posting my movie reviews on the web and found a whole new audience. I’m all for variety when it comes to movie genres, but I’m often drawn to obscure, lesser-known films. The beauty of the cinema is that there’s always a movie to fit my ever-changing mood. I’m just a fan of great filmmaking. If you want to contact me, send me an e-mail at moviefan8169@yahoo.com.

JD - Reviewer (Theatrical)

I like to watch movies, read a lot, and like to get lost a lot. I co-host a radio show with friends Jamey and Chris called Movie Geeks United (www.blogtalkradio.com/moviegeeksunited). You can reach me at jmdennis6@comcast.net or Jerry@FilmArcade.net.

Fred [The Wolf] - Reviewer (Theatrical/DVDs)

I'm Fred, but many call me by The Wolf. I'm a 27 year old New Yorker who is majoring in Film and aspires to be a screenwriter. I've been reviewing films since late 2006 as a way to express my thoughts about films and create discussions that I've never really had while growing up. I love films because it's an escape from reality. I love watching the lives of characters on film and relating to them, seeing myself in them. The less I can relate to a film, the more I'm gonna be totally negative of it. In my reviews, I post a list of things I've learned from watching the film. They're totally sarcastic in nature and not to be taken seriously at all. The world needs more humor and I like to think I provide it every time I review a film, both good and bad. My favorite films are "Halloween" (1978)," A Clockwork Orange," "Sin City," "Spider-Man 2," "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre," "Airplane!," and guilty pleasures like "Mommie Dearest" and "Elvira, Mistress of the Dark." I'm more of a horror genre guy, but I'll watch and review anything. I also write for FilmFanatix.com, Fatally-Yours.com, Wikpik.com, MySpace.com/FilmFerox, and BargainBinReview.com. If anyone has requests for reviews, they can email me at Howlingwolf00@aol.com or fyoung0281@gmail.com.

Freelance the Film Critic - Reviewer (Theatrical/DVDs)

Hello, I’m a normal guy with an abnormal obsession for the cinema. Four years of my life I was in a certain part the movie business. It wasn’t until a few months ago that I quit and stated, “I rather enjoy the movies instead of smelling like popcorn and cleaning up after another sold out Ben Stiller comedy!” It has been about a year now since I started getting into writing about films. I’m currently going to school with a major in film studies and journalism. As far as films go I really enjoy anything and everything by P.T. Anderson, David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick, the Coen brother, and Darren Aronofsky. I personally think film is an absolutely wonderful medium. Besides theater plays, film is the only form that combines all of the major classes: music, acting, and art. Along with FilmArcade you can read my stuff at the following: http://www.myspace.com/freelancefilmcritic and http://rottentomatoes.com/vine/j/mojoelikesmovies or you can email me any questions at: mojoelikesmovies@gmail.com Thank you!
