3 Dead Girls is an anthology film that contains three award-winning short films from director Christopher Alan Broadstone. In the first story Scream for Me, which won the best short film at the 2003 New York Horror Film Fest. The film is about a killer who brakes into a house and murdering a woman. He then meets another person barges into her home and insisting on having sex with that woman, but he finds her dead. Soon that person becomes more insane and more violent than the murderer, as he does something unspeakable and shocking to him. In the second film My Skin, which won Best Horror short film at the 2003 Shirekfest Film Festival and the grand prize at the 2004 Cinema Edge Awards. Death is out for revenge. Before it’s collects the soul of a murdered girl, death stalks her murderer, as it wants to avenge her death. And in the final film, Human No More which won the Best Horror Short at the 2005 Indie Gathering Film Festival. The film follows a private eye who is obsessed with a murder case that makes him decent into his own dark underworld, which may drive him insane permanently.
3 Dead Girls is an anthology film that will frighten the mind. Writer/ Director Christopher Alan Broadstone does a very good job making the horror for all three of these films psychological.

ff this anthology. Director/Writer Christopher Alan Broadstone created a very intense short here. He keeps the level of intensity up by making this film very dark and using shocking imagery. I liked how he made his two main characters very unlikable. It really helped me not feel sorry for the killer when the film went into it’s disturbing end which I won’t give away, as I want you to see it for your self. Broadstone’s direction of the actors was great. He lets Tony Simmons (who stars in all three of these films) and Gabriel Sigal performances be creepy and downright sadistic. It really helped sell the characters that they were playing in that film.

The Second film, My Skin, is the best film of the three films showcased here. Broadstone does a very good job focusing on the aftermath of the event that took place in the beginning. He doesn’t turn this film to an action packed revenge piece with things being blown up. Instead, he makes this makes more of a psychological piece where he has the main character is verbally tormenting the guy. It works very well because of the dialogue and the direction of the main star. The film felt more like a one man play with a couple of minor characters there to move the story along. It works, if the main performance is great. The main performance was great here. Tony Simmons makes his character vengeful by delivering his lines in a frightening tone, as he sold the fact that he wanted revenge. My Skin is a very psychological piece that keeps you interested. Finally, Human No More is very dark and creepy detective story. Christopher Broadstone does a good job focusing on the events to, why the detective lost his mind. He also ad
ded suspense in the screenplay, as you felt that someone or something was listening to him while he was talking and wasn’t sure if or when it would strike. There was also some really technical things that Broadstone and his crew did with this film, like how they made sure that the scenery in the film dark and gritty. Also, Director of Photography Schwarz Nipfargen does a very good job with the camera work, as it helped give me the presence of another character that was lurking in the background. Human No More is a very dark detective story.

3 Dead Girls are three films that provide an interesting look at the darkness of human mind.
