On January 1, 2008, FilmArcade.net opened up its doors, but due to a few problems, the site didn’t really appear on the web until January 6, 2008. Over the past twelve months, we have reviewed new releases and old, telling you what to see and what to skip. The first year was only a test-run for the site. The second year offers so many opportunities for the site. For the first month of the New Year, we already plan some big changes with the site…

- Brand new reviews for new releases and old releases

- Coverage at the Sundance Film Festival

- Our second year of doing our Oscar Cleanups

- Daily news articles, starting on Monday

Also, here is what you can expect for the rest of the year… (aside from the usual reviews and news articles)

- An Oscar live blog. Last year’s was a lot of fun.

- FilmArcade.net will be attending film festivals and conventions all over the country this year. Sundance is only the beginning. We hope to be able to cover the Tribeca Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival, the San Diego Comic-Con, MonsterMania con, and others.

- Remember that podcast/weekly radio show that I talked about? Details coming in the next few months…
